democracy in action
I present the following nominated fst month themes without comment commented all to hell, because I'm a catty bastard tonight:
Drugs (because I want five thousand copies of 'The Perfect Drug' made available to me)
Mistakes (okay, while this could be cool in a 'oops I caused the Third Impact' way, it's more likely to be 'an fst for the time I broke my special Prince of Tennis watch')
Seven deadly sins (I'm thinking of starting a 'sloth' fansite, myself)
Rainbow (search iTunes for songs with colours in title, lather, rinse, repeat)
Nature (those $9.99 classical CDs they sell at Target have totally beaten you to it, man)
World historic events: battles, usurpings, crownings, invasions, etc. (a student of mine asked me today, 'What's your favourite war?')
A ST devoted to your interpretation and emotional ties to a color (search iTunes for songs with colours in title, lather, rinse, repeat)
The Victorian Era (logical drive malfunction, no such thing as a fan of the Victorian Era)
Organizations, both real and fictional (oh, just come out and say 'OrgXIII month!')
Canon appreciation (The 1812 Overture! ... oh, one n. ... ... seriously, what?)
Letter: Either the artist or the song title must start with the same letter as your username (I feel sorry for those folk whose usernames start with underscores)
Ways for the world to end (yes, because I five thousand copies of 'It's the End of the World As We Know It')
An FST for breaking stereotypes (made entirely of music that only reinforces them?)
The USA 2008 Presidential Election (only if someone includes the 'Barack the Magic Negro' song Rush has been playing)
FST for Best Friends (again, possibly cool in the fandom sense, but will end up being 'this is for me and my beta-reader')
Hot and Cold (hot/cold otpppppp!!!)
Flight (five thousand copies of 'Learning to Fly,' etc.)
Crack pairings (...shit, and this one's got the most votes of all!)
